Its all about being creative and a good ear!

Our aim is to set the tone and convey the mood of each area in the game, heightening tension and drawing you into the game world ultimately immersing the player in a deep atmosphere. Anything that is heard and remains unseen uses the gamer's imagination and engages their emotions directly.

We work closely with you ensuring you get the best possible audio style for your game. With the creation and implementation of original music compositions, voice overs and an extensive collection of sound libraries we can adapt to the nature of the game, manipulate the mood and create an atmosphere that captivates the gamers experience.

Fact: Sound Design is the process of specifying, acquiring, manipulating or generating audio elements.  It is utilised in a variety of applications including film, theatre, live music performances and video games, and most commonly involves the manipulation of previously composed or recorded audio, such as music and sound effects.  In some instances it may also involve the composition or manipulation of audio to create a desired effect or mood. A sound designer is one who practices the art of sound design.

Fact: Generation and manipulation of sound elements is widely used in a variety of human-computer interfaces, in computer games and video games.  Audio in video games is always an enhancer – when you make an action happen an accompanying sound helps the user identify what just happened. Additionally the right selection of background music portrays the environment and allows the user to enter the created world.

Fact: In filmmaking, a sound designer is responsible for all of the aspects of the movie soundtrack. The duties of a sound designer are carried out parallel to the job of a sound edition supervisor or sound supervisor.

Fact: From the earliest time, sound has been used in religious practices for healing or just for fun. In ancient Japan, theatrical events called Kagura were performed in Shinto shrines with music and dance. Plays were performed in medieval times in a form of theatre called Commedia dell’arte, which used music and sound effects to enhance performances.  The use of music and sound in the Elizabethan Theatre followed, in which music and sound effects were produced off stage using devices such as bells, whistles, and horns. In 1913 Italian composer Luigi Russolo built mechanical sound-making devices called Intonarumori, for theatrical and music performances.  These devices were created to simulate realistic sounds, including trains and bombs.
